THINGS TO DO

Cuernavaca is a resort city, known for its spring-like climate all year long, and it welcomes national and international guests all the time.

We will be pleased to recommend restaurants, spas, museums… and help you plan your journey.

Spanish

There are more than 28 Spanish schools in Cuernavaca, making it the second most visited place to learn Spanish in the world after Salamanca (Spain). If you want to learn Spanish, let us know; as we will be pleased to recommend schools or a private Spanish teacher. Fees go from around 200 USD for a group course at a regular school to 20-30 USD per hour for a private lesson at the property.

Health

Cuernavaca has hundreds of spas, but the best are the ones at Mission de Sol and Hosteria Las Quintas.

Culture & History

Cuernavaca has several museums and historical buildings. The cathedral and Palacio de Cortez go back to the beginning of Spanish colonization (1492). In fact, Cuernavaca has the 3rd oldest cathedral in the American continent (1519) as well as interesting museums offering art, history and science.

Gastronomy & Going Out

For decades, Cuernavaca has been known for its world famous Las Mañanitas restaurant, which was the only Relais & Chateau restaurant in America. Nowadays, Cuernavaca offers restaurants for a wide range of budgets and tastes.
